SUMMARY...Isolated strong wind gusts will be possible, though the
threat should be brief in both time and space. A watch is not
expected.
DISCUSSION...The airmass across southeast KY into northeast TN and
far western VA has remained relatively free of convection this
afternoon. Currently, lines of convection are converging on this
area, where a very moist, warm and unstable environment is in place.
As storms develop/merge over the area, strong wind gusts will be
possible. The overall threat should remain limited in space and time
and a watch is not expected.
