NORTHWESTERN LAWRENCE AND SOUTHEASTERN PERRY COUNTIES UNTIL 815 PM
CDT...

At 730 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Linden to near Walnut Grove. Movement was
east at 35 mph.

Brief ind gusts up to 40 mph will be possible with these storms.
Winds this strong are capable of breaking branches from trees and
can sometimes topple shallow rooted trees.

Locations impacted include...
Hohenwald, Waynesboro, Collinwood, Cypress Inn, Flatwoods and Lutts.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential downpours are also occuring with these storms, and may
lead to ponding in low lying areas.
