...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR LEWIS...WESTERN MAURY AND
SOUTHERN HICKMAN COUNTIES UNTIL 830 PM CDT...

At 746 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Hohenwald, moving east at 35 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this storm. Winds this
strong are capable of breaking branches from trees and can sometimes
topple shallow rooted trees.

Locations impacted include...
Columbia, Hohenwald, Centerville, Mount Pleasant, Santa Fe,
Gordonsburg, Kimmins, Hampshire and Williamsport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to ponding in low lying areas.
