...A Chance of Light Snow This Afternoon through Friday Night...

An upper level weather disturbance will sweep across southern and
western parts of Middle Tennessee late this afternoon and this
evening providing a chance of light snow. Snow chances will taper
off and end over most of southern and western Middle Tennessee during
the overnight hours. However...a slight chance for light snow will
linger until daybreak over the southwest...around Lawrenceburg
...as another weather disturbance approaches the Mid- State.

A dusting to a half inch of snow is possible on Friday into Friday
night in areas generally along and south of Interstate 40...as a
low pressure area develops along the Gulf coastal area. This
could lead to some minor travel impacts including a few slick
spots on overpasses and backroads.
