...A Chance of Light Snow over Western and Southern Middle
Tennessee through Friday Evening...

Several upper level weather disturbances will sweep across western
and southern parts of Middle Tennessee through Friday evening,
producing a chance for light snow or flurries. The first
disturbance will pass the area this evening and the other will
sweep through during the daylight hours on Friday.

No more than a dusting of snow is expected from the first event
this evening. However, the second event, on Friday, could produce
half an inch of snow over southern areas...around Columbia,
Shelbyville and Lewisburg. Most of that accumulation will be on
grassy areas and rooftops, although a few slick spots could also
develop on overpasses and untreated backroads. Meanwhile...areas
further north...toward Centerville...Waverly and Dover are only
expected to see trace amounts of snow on Friday.
