ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS, RARITAN BAY, AND THE LOWER DELAWARE BAY.
TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS ARE NOW EXPECTED TO ARRIVE DURING THE DAY
MONDAY, AND COULD LINGER INTO TUESDAY. THE STRONGEST WINDS ARE NOW
EXPECTED TO BE CONFINED ALONG THE COAST AND THE ADJACENT WATERS, WITH
WINDY CONDITIONS JUST INLAND AS WELL.

COASTAL FLOODING WILL STILL POSE A RISK TO PROPERTY, PARTICULARLY
AROUND THE TIMES OF HIGH TIDE MONDAY LATE MORNING-EARLY AFTERNOON
AND MONDAY NIGHT. MINOR TO MODERATE TIDAL FLOODING IS EXPECTED
TO OCCUR ALONG THE OCEAN-FRONT, BACK BAYS, AND THE DELAWARE BAY,
A REASONABLE WORST CASE SCENARIO IS FOR MORE WIDESPREAD MODERATE
TIDAL FLOODING TO OCCUR, BUT WITH THE HERMINE REMAINING WELL
OFFSHORE, MAJOR COASTAL FLOODING IS NOT EXPECTED. COASTAL FLOOD
WARNINGS WERE ISSUED FOR PORTIONS OF NEW JERSEY AND DELAWARE THAT

OF LIFE THREATENING RIP CURRENTS HAS LEAD TO SWIMMING RESTRICTIONS
OVER THE LABOR DAY WEEKEND. SIGNIFICANT BEACH EROSION HAS OCCURRED
AND IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS.
