SITUATION OVERVIEW

HURRICANE MATTHEW WAS LOCATED ABOUT 60 MILES NORTHEAST OF BRUNSWICK GEORGIA
AND WAS TRACKING TO THE NORTH AROUND 12 MPH. THE HURRICANE WILL CONTINUE TO
MOVE AWAY FROM THE REGION. THE STORM SURGE HAS SUBSIDED ALONG THE COAST
BUT THERE WILL STILL BE STANDING WATER AS WELL AS AREAL FLOODING ALONG
THE ST JOHNS RIVER AND TRIBUTARIES.
POTENTIAL IMPACTS

* WIND:
WINDS HAVE DECREASED TO BELOW TROPICAL STORM WARNING.
- COMMUNITY OFFICIALS WILL BE ASSESSING THE EXTENT OF ACTUAL WIND
IMPACTS ACCORDINGLY.
- EMERGENCY WORK CREWS WILL BE RESTORING ESSENTIAL COMMUNITY
INFRASTRUCTURE AS NECESSARY.
- IF YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY DIAL 9 1 1.
* SURGE:
LITTLE TO NO ADDITIONAL SURGE IMPACTS EXPECTED.
- COMMUNITY OFFICIALS WILL BE ASSESSING THE EXTENT OF ACTUAL
SURGE IMPACTS ACCORDINGLY.
- EMERGENCY WORK CREWS WILL BE RESTORING ESSENTIAL COMMUNITY
INFRASTRUCTURE AS NECESSARY.

* FLOODING RAIN:
NO MORE SIGNIFICANT RAIN IS EXPECTED. HOWEVER...THE RECENT HEAVY RAINS
WILL CAUSE AREAL FLOODING ALONG THE ST JOHNS RIVER AND TRIBUTARIES.

NO IMPACT IS ANTICIPATED.
