LATITUDE 41.2N...LONGITUDE 68.7W. THIS WAS ABOUT 70 MILES EAST OF
NANTUCKET MA. STORM MOTION WAS NE OR 45 DEGREES AT 31 MPH. STORM
INTENSITY WAS 75 MPH.
.SITUATION OVERVIEW...
TROPICAL STORM FORCE WIND GUSTS WILL PERSIST DURING THE EARLY
MORNING HOURS BEFORE DIMINISHING. THE HEAVY RAIN HAS MOVED
OFF...AND FLASH FLOODING IS NO LONGER A THREAT.

AT MIDNIGHT...AND TROPICAL STORM WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO END DURING
THE EARLY MORNING HOURS. THERE REMAINS A RISK OF TREE AND POWER
LINE DAMAGE FOR A WHILE INTO THE EARLY MORNING HOURS.
...STORM SURGE AND STORM TIDE...
THE IMPACT FROM COMBINED STORM SURGE AND TIDE WATERS IS EXPECTED
TO BE MINIMAL. THERE IS A RISK OF JUST VERY MINOR COASTAL
FLOODING AROUND THE TIME OF THE MORNING HIGH TIDE ALONG NANTUCKET
HARBOR. LARGE SWELLS MAY ALSO CONTINUE TO RESULT IN MINOR BEACH
EROSION ALONG THE EAST AND SOUTH SHORES OF NANTUCKET.
