AT 5 AM CDT...THE CENTER OF HURRICANE ISAAC WAS LOCATED NEAR
LATITUDE 29.2 NORTH...LONGITUDE 90.5 WEST. THIS WAS ABOUT 230 MILES
SOUTHEAST OF NATCHITOCHES LOUISIANA...OR ABOUT 250 MILES SOUTH
SOUTHEAST OF MONROE LOUISIANA. STORM MOTION WAS WEST NORTHWEST OR
300 DEGREES AT 8 MPH. STORM INTENSITY WAS 80 MPH.

.SITUATION OVERVIEW...
HURRICANE ISAAC BRIEFLY MADE LANDFALL AS A CATEGORY ONE HURRICANE
NEAR THE MOUTH OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER EARLY TUESDAY EVENING.
ISAAC THEN MOVED BACK OFF SHORE AND IS ABOUT TO MAKE LANDFALL
AGAIN NEAR THE SOUTHERN LOUISIANA COAST. A FLASH FLOOD THREAT IS
EXPECTED TO INCREASE ALONG WITH TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS
WEDNESDAY EVENING THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY MORNING.
