TROPICAL STORM WARNING HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED. SMALL CRAFT
ADVISORIES ARE NOW IN EFFECT FOR ALL THE ATLANTIC AND CARIBBEAN
COASTAL WATERS.

THIS LOCAL STATEMENT PROVIDES IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND
RECOMMENDED ACTIONS FOR PEOPLE AND MARINE INTERESTS IN SELECT

TROPICAL CYCLONE WATCHES AND WARNINGS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED FOR PUERTO
RICO AND THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS AND THEIR COASTAL WATERS.
A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF PUERTO RICO EXCEPT
CULEBRA AND VIEQUES. PLEASE LISTEN CLOSELY FOR ANY FLOOD WARNINGS
THAT MIGHT BE IN EFFECT FOR YOUR AREA.

NEAR LATITUDE 16.7N...LONGITUDE 69.7W. THIS WAS ABOUT 200 MILES
WEST-SOUTHWEST OF MAYAGUEZ PR...OR ABOUT 230 MILES WEST-SOUTHWEST
OF PONCE PR. STORM MOTION WAS WEST AT 14 MPH. THE STORM INTENSITY
WAS 50 MPH.

ALTHOUGH...OUTER RAINBANDS OF TROPICAL STORM EMILY WILL CONTINUE
TO MOVE ONSHORE ACROSS PUERTO RICO TODAY WITH FREQUENT SHOWERS AND
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH THE DAY...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS
ARE NO LONGER EXPECTED ACROSS THE FORECAST AREA.

EXPECTED ESPECIALLY WITHIN RAINBANDS. HIGHER WINDS ARE POSSIBLE
IN AREAS OF ELEVATED TERRAIN AND OVER WATER.
SEAS OF 8 TO 10 FEET WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS
TODAY AND START TO DIMINISH LATER TONIGHT.
