.AT 200 AM EDT...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM FAY WAS LOCATED NEAR
LATITUDE 25.5 NORTH...LONGITUDE 81.8 WEST OR ABOUT 45 MILES SOUTH OF
NAPLES FLORIDA. THIS POSITION IS ALSO ABOUT 65 MILES NORTH OF KEY
WEST.
FAY IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH NEAR 7 MPH. A MOTION JUST EAST OF DUE
NORTH IS EXPECTED PRIOR TO LANDFALL...WITH A NORTH-NORTHEASTWARD
MOTION EXPECTED OVER THE NEXT DAY OR TWO. ON THIS TRACK THE CENTER
WILL REACH THE COAST OF SOUTHWEST FLORIDA LATER THIS MORNING AND
CONTINUE INLAND OVER CENTRAL FLORIDA TODAY AND TONIGHT.

A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE UPPER FLORIDA KEYS
THROUGH EARLY THIS MORNING. A TORNADO WATCH MEANS THERE IS A
POSSIBILITY OF ISOLATED TORNADOES IN THE WATCH AREA. HOWEVER...
THE THREAT OF TORNADOES WILL DIMINISH BY DAYBREAK.

SMALL CRAFT SHOULD REMAIN IN PORT UNTIL TROPICAL STORM FAY MOVES OUT
OF OUR REGION. TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS SHOULD MOVE NORTH OF THE
FLORIDA STRAITS BEFORE DAYBREAK. ON THE ATLANTIC SIDE...SEAS BEYOND
THE REEF OF 9 TO 15 FEET AND SEAS INSIDE THE REEF 2 TO 4 FEET WILL
SLOWLY SUBSIDE TODAY. SEAS WELL OFFSHORE ON THE GULF SIDE WILL REMAIN
BETWEEN 7 AND 13 FEET THROUGH EARLY THIS MORNING...THEN SLOWLY
SUBSIDE DURING THE DAY.
