LATITUDE 25.0 NORTH...LONGITUDE 81.9 WEST OR ABOUT 105 MILES SOUTH OF
NAPLES FLORIDA. THIS POSITION IS ALSO ABOUT 30 MILES NORTH NORTHWEST
OF KEY WEST.
FAY IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH NEAR 9 MPH. THIS GENERAL MOTION IS
EXPECTED TO CONTINUE TONIGHT AND TUESDAY. ON THE FORECAST TRACK...THE

A TORNADO WATCH IS EFFECT FOR ALL THE FLORIDA KEYS THIS EVENING. A
TORNADO WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF ISOLATED TORNADOES IN
THE FLORIDA KEYS. HOWEVER...THE THREAT OF TORNADOES WILL DIMINISH
SIGNIFICANTLY OVERNIGHT.
...MARINE IMPACTS...
SMALL CRAFT SHOULD REMAIN IN PORT UNTIL TROPICAL STORM FAY MOVES OUT
OF OUR REGION. TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS SHOULD MOVE NORTH OF THE
FLORIDA STRAITS LATE TONIGHT. ON THE ATLANTIC SIDE...SEAS BEYOND THE
REEF OF 7 TO 9 FEET AND SEAS INSIDE THE REEF 2 TO 4 FEET WILL
CONTINUE OVERNIGHT...THEN SLOWLY SUBSIDE ON TUESDAY. SEAS ON THE
GULF SIDE WILL REMAIN BETWEEN 7 AND 10 FEET OVERNIGHT...THEN SLOWLY
DIMINISH ON TUESDAY.

THE NEXT LOCAL STATEMENT CONCERNING THE IMPACTS OF TROPICAL
STORM FAY TO THE FLORIDA KEYS WILL BE ISSUED BY MIDNIGHT...OR
