FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...
A TROPICAL WAVE IS PRODUCING WIDESPREAD CLOUDINESS AND SCATTERED
SHOWERS FROM HISPANIOLA...PUERTO RICO...AND THE NORTHERN LESSER
ANTILLES NORTHWARD OVER THE ATLANTIC FOR A FEW HUNDRED MILES.
UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE ONLY MARGINALLY FAVORABLE AND DEVELOPMENT...
IF ANY...SHOULD BE SLOW TO OCCUR OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.
ANOTHER TROPICAL WAVE IS MOVING WESTWARD AT 20 MPH THROUGH CENTRAL
AND SOUTHERN LESSER ANTILLES. THIS SYSTEM REMAINS POORLY ORGANIZED
...AND UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE ONLY MARGINALLY FAVORABLE FOR SOME
SLOW DEVELOPMENT TO OCCUR. HOWEVER...AN AIR FORCE RESERVE UNIT
RECONNAISSANCE AIRCRAFT IS SCHEDULED TO INVESTIGATE THE SYSTEM THIS
AFTERNOON...IF NECESSARY.
ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH MONDAY.
