HURRICANE OLAF WAS LOCATED AT 12.6 SOUTH 171.4 WEST OR ABOUT 140 MILES
NORTHWEST OF TUTUILA AT 5:22 PM SST TUESDAY. HURRICANE OLAF WITH
WINDS OF 160 MPH AND GUSTS TO 190 MPH NEAR THE CENTER WAS MOVING EAST
SOUTHEAST AT 10 MPH IN THE LAST 3 HOURS AND IT WILL MAINTAIN THIS TRACK
IN THE NEXT 12 HOURS BEFORE MOVING SOUTHEASTWARD AT 15 MPH. THIS
TRACK WILL TAKE HURRICANE OLAF TO 50 MILES NORTH OF TUTUILA AT 3AM
WEDNESDAY AND NEAR MANUA WEDNESDAY MORNING.

THE THREAT OF COASTAL FLOODING WILL BE ON THE INCREASE TONIGHT
THROUGH WEDNESDAY AS VERY DESTRUCTIVE SEAS OF 15 TO 25 FEET WILL
GENERATE VERY DANGEROUS AND DAMAGING SURF OF 40 FEET TUESDAY NIGHT
AND WEDNESDAY WITH OCCASIONAL HIGHER SETS. COASTAL FLOODING OF
LOW-LYING AREAS ALONG THE NORTH SHORES IS IMMINENT. ALL SMALL CRAFTS
SHOULD STAY IN PORT.

WEDNESDAY. VERY DESTRUCTIVE WINDS UP TO 80 TO 100 MPH WITH HIGHER
GUSTS COULD AFFECT TUTUILA TONIGHT WITH WINDS OF 100 TO 140 MILES OVER
MANUA WEDNESDAY.
