COAST IS DISCONTINUED SOUTH OF FLAGLER BEACH FLORIDA...AND EXTENDED
NORTHWARD TO SOUTH SANTEE RIVER SOUTH CAROLINA. A TROPICAL STORM
WARNING IS NOW IN EFFECT FROM FLAGLER BEACH TO SOUTH SANTEE RIVER.
A TROPICAL STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT ON THE GULF COAST FROM
ANCLOTE KEY TO APALACHICOLA FLORIDA.
AT 5 AM EDT...0900Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM JEANNE WAS
LOCATED OVER NORTH CENTRAL FLORIDA NEAR LATITUDE 30.5 NORTH...
LONGITUDE 83.6 WEST OR ABOUT 40 MILES...EAST OF TALLAHASSEE.
JEANNE IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH-NORTHWEST NEAR 12 MPH. A TURN TO
THE NORTH-NORTHEAST IS EXPECTED OVER THE NEXT 24 HOURS
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 50 MPH...WITH HIGHER
GUSTS. JEANNE IS EXPECTED TO WEAKEN TO A TROPICAL DEPRESSION BY
LATE TODAY.
TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS EXTEND OUTWARD UP TO 200 MILES FROM THE
CENTER...MAINLY OVER THE WATERS OF THE GULF OF MEXICO AND THE

STORM SURGE FLOODING OF 2 TO 4 FEET ABOVE NORMAL TIDE LEVELS IS
POSSIBLE IN THE WARNING AREA ALONG THE FLORIDA GULF COAST...WITH
HIGHER VALUES AT THE HEADS OF BAYS. STORM SURGE FLOODING
