COAST NORTH OF COCOA BEACH.

A TROPICAL STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT ON THE ATLANTIC COAST
FROM NORTH OF COCOA BEACH TO THE SAVANNAH RIVER. A WIND ADVISORY IS
IN EFFECT FOR BREVARD...OSCEOLA...ORANGE...LAKE...SEMINOLE AND
VOLUSIA COUNTIES

AT 8 PM EDT THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM JEANNE WAS LOCATED NEAR
LATITUDE 29.4 NORTH... LONGITUDE 82.7 WEST OR ABOUT 10 MILES SOUTH OF
BRONSON FLORIDA. THIS IS ALSO ABOUT 30 MILES SOUTHWEST OF GAINESVILLE
FLORIDA. JEANNE IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH-NORTHWEST NEAR 13 MPH.
...PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE TO SLOWLY IMPROVE DURING THE EVENING. PLEASE
LIMIT TRAVEL ESPECIALLY NOW THAT IT IS DARK AND ROAD HAZARDS WILL BE
MORE DIFFICULT TO SEE. MANY POWERLINES ARE DOWN AND TREES AND DEBRIS
ARE ON THE ROADWAYS. TRAFFIC LIGHTS ARE OUT OR DOWN AND IT IS
DANGEROUS TO TRAVEL. REMEMBER TRAFFIC LIGHTS THAT ARE OUT OF ORDER
BECOME FOUR WAY STOPS.

TRAILING RAINBANDS...CONTAINING LIGHT RAIN AND WIND GUSTS UP
TO 45 MPH WILL SPIRAL NORTHEAST ACROSS EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA...WHILE
SLOWLY WEAKENING. WINDS WILL BE A LITTLE HIGHER AT ELEVATED
LOCATIONS...LIKE COASTAL CAUSEWAYS AND HIGH RISE BUILDINGS.

AUGUSTINE...38 MPH AT DAYTONA BEACH...39 MPH AT SANFORD...40 MPH AT
ORLANDO...AND 45 MPH AT THE VILLAGES.
...STORM SURGE FLOOD AND STORM TIDE IMPACTS...
LITTLE STORM SURGE REMAINS...BUT LARGE AND DANGEROUS BATTERING
WAVES WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT THE COAST MAINLY NORTH OF
CAPE CANAVERAL.

THE FLOOD THREAT ASSOCIATED WITH JEANNE HAS DIMINISHED. AS A
RESULT...AN AERIAL FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR INDIAN
RIVER...OSCEOLA...BREVARD...ORANGE...LAKE...SEMINOLE AND VOLUSIA
COUNTIES UNTIL 5 AM MONDAY MORNING. THIS IS MAINLY FOR OVERFLOWING
SMALL LAKES AND RETENTION PONDS... AND THE PONDING OF WATER THAT
COVERS MANY ROADS.
