LATITUDE 25.7 NORTH...LONGITUDE  49.5 WEST OR ABOUT 1500
MILES...2420 KM...WEST-SOUTHWEST OF FAYAL ISLAND IN THE WESTERN
AZORES.

KARL IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH NEAR 17 MPH ...28 KM/HR.  A GRADUAL
