AT 5 PM EDT...1200Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM FRANCES WAS
LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 30.6 NORTH...LONGITUDE  84.3 WEST OR
ABOUT 75 MILES... 120 KM...NORTHEAST OF APALACHICOLA FLORIDA. THIS
PLACES THE STORM NEAR TALLAHASSEE FLORIDA.

...CURRENT RADAR INFORMATION...
BANDS OF HEAVY RAIN CONTINUE TO AFFECT THE WEST FLORIDA COASTLINE
FROM HUDSON TO CEDAR KEY. THE BANDS ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE SLOWLY
NORTHWARD FOR THE NEXT FEW HOURS. HEAVY RAINS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES AN
HOUR AND GUSTY WINDS UP TO 50 TO 60 MPH ACCOMPANY THE HEAVIEST BANDS.
SHOWERS ARE DEVELOPING ACROSS THE REST OF THE AREA AND MOVING RAPIDLY
NORTHEAST.

...WIND INFORMATION...
THE STRONGEST WINDS REMAINING OVER THE WEST FLORIDA PENINSULA ARE
ASSOCIATED WITH THE BANDS OF HEAVY RAIN.  ELSEWHERE WINDS HAVE BEEN
GENERALLY 20 TO 30 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS ACROSS THE AREA.  EXPECT
WINDS TO CONTINUE TO DECREASE THROUGH THE EVENING.

WATER LEVELS OF 5 TO 7 FEET ABOVE NORMAL TIDES ARE EXPECTED OVER LEVY
COUNTY...4 TO 6 FEET OVER CITRUS COUNTY...3 TO 5 FEET OVER HERNANDO
COUNTY AND 2 TO 4 FEET ACROSS THE REST OF THE AREA INTO THIS EVENING.
BEACH EROSION AND SPLASH-OVER IS LIKELY. MINOR TO MODERATE FLOODING
OF LOW LYING COASTAL AREAS IS ALSO POSSIBLE DURING TIME OF HIGH TIDE.

...FLOOD INFORMATION...
ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN OF 2 TO 3 INCHES IS EXPECTED IN THE HEAVY RAIN
BANDS OVER THE NATURE COAST.  OTHER AREAS COULD LOCALLY SEE AN
ADDITIONAL INCH OF RAIN IN HEAVIER SHOWERS. MODERATE TO MAJOR
FLOODING ON RIVERS WILL DEVELOP OVER MUCH OF WEST CENTRAL FLORIDA
TODAY. RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS...CREEKS...AND RIVERS ACROSS
THE REGION SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR SIGNIFICANT FLOODING AND TAKE
ACTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY.

...MARINE INFORMATION...
TROPICAL STORM FORCE WIND GUSTS ARE OCCURRING AS THE SPIRAL BANDS
MOVE OVER THE COASTAL WATERS MAINLY NORTH OF ANCLOTE KEYS. SMALL
CRAFT SHOULD REMAIN IN PORT UNTIL WINDS AND SEAS SUBSIDE.

...TORNADO INFORMATION...
ISOLATED TORNADOES WILL BE POSSIBLE WITHIN THE SPIRAL BANDS.
ANY TORNADOES THAT FORM WILL MOVE VERY QUICKLY AND BE SHORT LIVED.

...SHELTER AND ROAD STATUS...
PLEASE CONTACT YOUR LOCAL COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT FOR SHELTER AND
ROAD STATUS.

MANY WALLS BETWEEN YOU AND THE STORMS WINDS AS POSSIBLE. STAY AWAY
FROM WINDOWS. KEEP A BATTERY OPERATED NOAA WEATHER RADIO...OR OTHER
