STORM FRANCES...LOCATED OVER THE NORTHEAST GULF OF MEXICO ABOUT
115 MILES SOUTHEAST OF APALACHICOLA FLORIDA...AND ON MAJOR
HURRICANE IVAN...LOCATED OVER THE TROPICAL ATLANTIC OCEAN ABOUT
550 MILES...OR 890 KM...EAST-SOUTHEAST OF BARBADOS.
A WELL-DEFINED LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM HAS REMAINED NEARLY STATIONARY
ABOUT 925 MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE NORTHERN AZORES ISLANDS. AT THIS
TIME...UPPER-LEVEL WINDS REMAIN UNFAVORABLE FOR TROPICAL CYCLONE
