THIS STATEMENT RECOMMENDS ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN BY RESIDENTS IN THE
FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF SOUTHEAST GEORGIA...CAMDEN AND GLYNN..

...WATCHES/WARNINGS...
A TROPICAL STORM WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE COASTAL SECTIONS
OF CAMDEN AND GLYNN COUNTIES IN SOUTHEAST GEORGIA.

...STORM INFORMATION...
AT 5 PM EDT...2100Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL DEPRESSION SEVEN WAS
LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 31.6 NORTH...LONGITUDE 78.1 WEST OR ABOUT
140 MILES SOUTHEAST OF CHARLESTON SOUTH CAROLINA.

THE DEPRESSION IS NEARLY STATIONARY. A SLOW WESTWARD DRIFT IS
EXPECTED TO BEGIN LATER TONIGHT. THIS MOTION COULD BRING THE
CENTER CLOSER TO THE SOUTHEASTERN U.S. COAST ON SATURDAY.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 30 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS MAINLY TO
THE EAST OF THE CENTER. SOME STRENGTHENING IS FORECAST AND THE
DEPRESSION COULD BECOME A TROPICAL STORM ON SATURDAY.

AT THIS TIME... THE PRIMARY IMPACT FROM TROPICAL DEPRESSION
SEVEN FOR SOUTHEAST GEORGIA WILL BE IN THE COASTAL AND OFFSHORE
WATERS. COASTAL AND MARINE INTERESTS IN SOUTHEAST GEORGIA SHOULD
REVIEW PREPAREDNESS PLANS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION QUICKLY IN
THE EVENT WARNINGS ARE REQUIRED.

...STORM SURGE FLOOD AND STORM TIDE IMPACTS...
NONE AT THIS TIME.

...WIND IMPACTS...
WINDS IN THE COASTAL WATERS AND ALONG THE IMMEDIATE COAST WILL
INCREASE TO 15 TO 25 MILES AN HOUR BY SATURDAY. ANY MOTION CLOSER TO
THE SOUTHEAST GEORGIA COAST THAN CURRENTLY FORECAST WOULD RESULT IN
STRONGER WINDS.
