AT 5 AM AST...0900Z...THE CENTER OF HURRICANE DANIELLE WAS LOCATED
NEAR LATITUDE 27.9 NORTH...LONGITUDE  40.7 WEST OR ABOUT 1055
MILES...1700 KM...SOUTHWEST OF THE AZORES ISLANDS.

DANIELLE IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH NEAR 14 MPH...22 KM/HR. A
GRADUAL TURN TOWARD THE NORTH-NORTHEAST...WITH A DECREASE IN
FORWARD SPEED...IS EXPECTED LATER TODAY.
