THE TROPICAL STORM WARNING HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED FROM LITTLE RIVER
INLET SOUTH CAROLINA TO SURF CITY NORTH CAROLINA.
THE FLOOD WATCH HAS BEEN CANCELED.
THE TORNADO WATCH HAS ALSO BEEN CANCELED.

AT 5 PM EDT THE CENTER OF CHARLEY WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE
36.0 NORTH... LONGITUDE 77.0 WEST...OR ABOUT 130 MILES NORTH OF
WILMINGTON NORTH CAROLINA.
CHARLEY WAS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH-NORTHEAST NEAR 30 MPH...AND A
GRADUAL TURN TO THE NORTHEAST IS EXPECTED.
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 70 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS.

RESIDENTS OF SOUTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION AS THE
