NORTHEAST SOUTH CAROLINA...GEORGETOWN AND HORRY...AND IN
SOUTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA...BRUNSWICK COUNTY...NEW HANOVER...
PENDER...COLUMBUS AND BLADEN.

A HURRICANE WARNING IS IN EFFECT FROM THE SOUTH SANTEE
RIVER SOUTH CAROLINA TO CAPE LOOKOUT NORTH CAROLINA. A HURRICANE
WARNING MEANS WINDS OVER 74 MPH WILL OCCUR WITHIN 24 HOURS.
AN INLAND TROPICAL STORM WIND WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR THE FOLLOWING
COUNTIES IN SOUTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA...COLUMBUS AND BLADEN.
A FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR THE COASTAL PLAIN OF SOUTH CAROLINA
AND NORTH CAROLINA.

LATITUDE 28.4 NORTH...LONGITUDE 81.4 WEST OR JUST NORTHEAST OF

CHARLEY WAS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH-NORTHEAST NEAR 25 MPH.
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NOW 90 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS.

EARLY SATURDAY MORNING INTO SATURDAY AFTERNOON. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO
REACH 50 TO 60 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 80 MPH DURING THE LATE MORNING INTO
LATE AFTERNOON SUBSIDING AFTER 8 PM TO 25 TO 35 MPH WITH SOME HIGHER
GUSTS.

ONSHORE NORTH TO CAPE FEAR. WITH THE CURRENT PROJECTED STRENGTH AND
LOCATION OF THE STORM...TIDES COULD BE 6 TO 8 FEET ABOVE NORMAL ALONG
THE SOUTH FACING BEACHES OF BRUNSWICK COUNTY...3 TO 6 FEET ALONG THE
EAST FACES BEACHES OF GEORGETOWN...HORRY...NEW HANOVER AND PENDER
COUNTIES. MODERATE BEACH EROSION IS POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM. LOW
TIDE WILL OCCUR AT 1:22 PM AT LOCKWOODS FOLLY INLET NEAR HOLDEN BEACH
ON SATURDAY. AT SPRINGMAID PIER AT MYRTLE BEACH LOW TIDE WILL OCCUR
AT 1:07 PM AND AT MASONBORO INLET NEAR WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH LOW TIDE
WILL OCCUR AT 1:13 PM.

TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS AND POSSIBLE THEN HURRICANE FORCE WINDS
AND HIGH SEAS WILL DEVELOP OVER THE COASTAL WATERS FRIDAY NIGHT AND
SATURDAY. MARINERS SHOULD STAY IN PORT. THERE IS A DANGEROUS RISK
OF RIP CURRENTS ON SATURDAY.

BONNIE...THE GROUND IS ALREADY SATURATED IN SOME AREAS. AN

POSSIBLE IN AREAS WITH POOR DRAINAGE...SMALL STREAMS AND LOW LYING
