...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTHEASTERN CHEATHAM COUNTY
IS CANCELLED...

The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
Middle Tennessee.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHERN DAVIDSON AND NORTHEASTERN WILLIAMSON COUNTIES...

At 1034 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Nashville,
moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Franklin, Nashville, Brentwood, Nolensville, Forest Hills, Oak Hill,
Belle Meade, Bellevue, Antioch, Berry Hill, Bells Bend, and Percy
Priest Lake.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 194 and 220.
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 59 and 92.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 43 and 62.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 31 and 32.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
