...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN DE KALB...NORTHERN
WARREN...SOUTHWESTERN WHITE AND NORTHEASTERN CANNON COUNTIES THROUGH
600 PM CDT...
At 525 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles southwest of Smithville, or near Short Mountain, moving
southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
McMinnville, Smithville, Dowelltown, and Rock Island State Park.
