...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT DAVIDSON...NORTHWESTERN
RUTHERFORD...SOUTHWESTERN SUMNER...NORTHEASTERN CHEATHAM AND SOUTH
CENTRAL ROBERTSON COUNTIES THROUGH 400 PM CDT...

At 334 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Coopertown to Rural Hill. Movement was
south at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ashland City, Nashville, Madison, Hendersonville, Smyrna, La Vergne,
Goodlettsville, Millersville, Greenbrier, Forest Hills, Oak Hill,
Coopertown, Belle Meade, Lakewood, Ridgetop, Hermitage, Bellevue,
Antioch, Old Hickory, and Joelton.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 196 and 222.
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 75 and 102.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 26 and 63.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
Middle Tennessee.
