...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT LEWIS...SOUTHWESTERN MARSHALL...
NORTHERN LAWRENCE...MAURY...NORTHERN GILES AND SOUTHERN HICKMAN
COUNTIES THROUGH 700 AM CDT...

At 609 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Centerville to Summertown. Movement was east
at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Columbia, Hohenwald, Centerville, Spring Hill, Mount Pleasant,
Summertown, Cornersville, Ethridge, Lynnville, Gordonsburg, Kimmins,
Henryville, Culleoka, I-65 East Of Columbia, Santa Fe, Frankewing,
Hampshire, and Williamsport.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 14 and 51.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
