...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys, Maury
  and Williamson.

* WHEN...Until 1045 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 731 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area, especially with additional
    rainfall of 1 to 2 inches this morning.
  - This includes the following streams and drainages...
    Hurricane Creek including Hurricane Mills, West Piney River
    including Eno, Garners Creek including Oak Grove, East Piney
    River including areas near Dickson, Murfrees Fork including
    Thompsons Station, and Sycamore Creek including Burwood.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Franklin, Columbia, Dickson, Waverly, Centerville, Camden,
    Brentwood, Spring Hill, White Bluff, Kingston Springs,
    Thompson's Station, Pegram, New Johnsonville, McEwen, Burns,
    Fairview, Hurricane Mills, Bon Aqua, Lyles and Primm Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
