...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 AM CDT THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
counties, Houston, Humphreys and Stewart.
* WHEN...Until 1045 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 724 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen
this morning and an additional 1 to 2 inches of rain can be
expected through 9am.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Hurricane Creek, Leatherwood Creek, Whiteoak Creek, Standing
Rock Creek, Turkey Creek, Big Richland Creek including
Trinity, Little Richland Creek and Cane Creek including
Stewart.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Waverly, Camden, Tennessee Ridge and Houston County Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
