...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northwestern
Montgomery and Stewart Counties through 645 AM CDT...
At 612 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Golden Pond Visitors Center, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Dover, Big Rock, Land Between The Lakes and Indian Mound.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 AM CDT for
Middle Tennessee.
