...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of central De Kalb,
northwestern White and western Putnam Counties through 915 PM CDT...

At 842 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Liberty, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, Smithville, Baxter, Dowelltown, Center Hill Lake,
Hamptons Crossroads, Bakers Crossroads, Burgess Falls State Park and
Edgar Evans State Park.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 270 and 288.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
Middle Tennessee.
