...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southern Overton,
northern Cumberland, southeastern Jackson, Putnam and southwestern
Fentress Counties through 630 PM CDT...

At 534 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Cookeville, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, Fairfield Glade, Algood, Monterey, Baxter, Grimsley,
Clarkrange, Crawford, Rickman and Cummins Falls State Park.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 281 and 309.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
Middle Tennessee.
