...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Bedford, Cannon, Coffee, Cumberland, De Kalb, Grundy,
  Putnam, Van Buren, Warren and White.

* WHEN...Until 700 PM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Also, rapid rises along small streams.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 417 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated moderate to heavy
    rain. Minor flooding has been reported by spotters in White
    county, and additional flooding is likely across the area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Cookeville, Shelbyville, McMinnville, Crossville, Manchester,
    Sparta, Smithville, Spencer, Fairfield Glade, Monterey,
    Morrison, Wartrace, Pleasant Hill, Doyle, Centertown,
    Normandy, Viola, Rock Island State Park, Bakers Crossroads
    and Burgess Falls State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
