...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Cheatham, Davidson, Robertson, Sumner, Williamson and
  Wilson.

* WHEN...Until 600 PM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas and
  area creeks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 339 PM CST, Rain and stream gauge reports indicate minor
    flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
    advisory area. Some creeks experiencing minor flooding
    include Whites Creek in Bordeaux, Richland Creek at Belle
    Meade, and Browns Creek near the Fairgrounds.
  - Rainfall intensity has decreased, so the minor flooding
    should end by 600 PM CST.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Franklin, Gallatin, Springfield, Ashland City, Nashville,
    Madison, Hendersonville, Brentwood, Mount Juliet,
    Goodlettsville, White House, Millersville, Greenbrier,
    Nolensville, Forest Hills, Oak Hill, Coopertown, Belle Meade,
    Kingston Springs and Lakewood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
