...The National Weather Service in Nashville TN has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Tennessee...
Cumberland River Near Bordeaux affecting Davidson County.
Cumberland River At Omohundro Water Plant affecting Davidson
County.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a
* Flood Warning for
the Cumberland River Near Bordeaux.
* From early this morning to Tuesday evening.
* At 2:45 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 30.5 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
* No flooding is currently forecast.
* Forecast...No forecast is available for this location.
* Impact...At 30.0 feet, Low lying areas along the river from the
I-65 bridge to areas near Tennessee State University begin to be
inundated, including portions of the Cumberland River Greenway,
and Bordeaux Gardens Park.
* Impact...At 32.0 feet, Low lying areas continue to be inundated,
including portions of the Cumberland River Greenway, the ballfield
in Bordeaux Gardens Park, portions of the Ted Rhodes Golf Course,
and agricultural property of Ed Temple Blvd.
* Impact...At 34.0 feet, Flooding of low lying areas along the river
begins. Locations impacted inlcude property on Huron Ave, portions
of the Cumberland River Greenway, Bordeaux Gardens Park, Ted
Rhodes Golf Course, and agricultural property on Ed Temple Blvd.
* Impact...At 36.0 feet, Flooding continues along the river from the
I-65 bridge to areas near Tennessee State University, including
property on Huron Ave, portions of the Cumberland River Greenway,
Bordeaux Gardens Park, Ted Rhodes Golf Course, and agricultural
property on Ed Temple Blvd. Water begins to inundate industrial
property on Buchanan St and Vashti St.
* Impact...At 38.0 feet, Areas adjacent to the river continue to be
flooded, inlucding property on Huron Ave, a mobile home community
off Brick Church Pike, and industrial properties on Buchanan St,
Vashti St, and Baptist World Center Dr. Prortions of the
Cumberland River Greenway and much of Bordeaux Gardens Park are
flooded. The Ted Rhodes Golf Course and agricultural property on
Ed Temple Blvd are mostly inundated, and low lying areas of
Tennessee State University near Dr Walter S Davis Blvd begin to
flood.
* Impact...At 40.0 feet, Industrial properties and structures on
Vashti St, Buchanan St, Youngs Ln, and Baptist World Center Dr are
flooded, in addition to a mobile home community off Brick Church
Pike. Other residential properties on Youngs Ln, Alice Ave, La
Grange Dr, Panorama Dr, Snell Blvd, and Viking Rd begin to flood.
Most of the property adjacent to the river on Ed Temple Blvd
between Clarksville Pike and Dr Walter S Davis Blvd is flooded, as
well as low lying areas of Tennessee State University.

* Flood Warning for
the Cumberland River At Omohundro Water Plant.
* From early this morning to Tuesday evening.
* At 3:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 38.1 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 41.0 feet.
* No flooding is currently forecast.
* Forecast...No forecast is available for this location.
* Impact...At 38.0 feet, Shelby Bottoms Park begins to be inundated
near the ball fields, and portions of the greenway trail may be
impassable. Water begins to back up Mill Creek and is inundating
low lying areas near Lebanon Pike.
* Impact...At 40.0 feet, Portions of Shelby Bottoms Park are
inundated, mainly near the ball fields and along the greenway
trails near the river. Water begins to approach properties
adjacent to the river on Davidson St, Nestor St, and Visco Dr.
* Impact...At 41.0 feet, Flooding along the river begins from the
Cumberland River Greenway Bridge in Shelby Bottoms Park to the
I-24 bridge near downtown. This includes the ballfields and other
areas in Shelby Bottoms Park, and properties adjacent to the river
on Davidson St, Nestor St, and Visco Dr. Backwater effects also
begin to cause flooding on Mill Creek up to near Lebanon Pike.
* Impact...At 43.0 feet, Properties on Davidson St, Nestor St, and
Visco Dr continue to be flooded with water approaching structures
in some areas. Water begins to approach property on River Hills Dr.
* Impact...At 45.0 feet, Flooding continues along the river from the
Cumberland River Greenway Bridge in Shelby Bottoms Park to the
I-24 bridge near downtown. Affected areas include properties and
structures on Davidson St, Nestor St, Visco dr, and Rolling Hills
Dr. Backwater effects are also causing flooding on Mill Creek near
the East Haven townhomes. Water also begins to flood Cornelia Fort
Airpark, the Vinny Links Golf Course, and areas near Driftwood St
and Stanley St.
* Impact...At 47.0 feet, Shelby Bottoms Park is mostly inundated,
and property and structures continue to be impacted on Davidson
St, Driftwood St, Nestor St, Stanley St, Visco Dr, Rolling Hills
Dr, the Cornelia Fort Airpark, the Vinny Links Golf Course, and
Mill Creek near Lebanon Pike. Backwater effects begin on Browns
Creek, flooding property along the creek to near Murfreesboro Pike.
