...The National Weather Service in Nashville TN has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Tennessee...
Cumberland River At Nashville affecting Davidson County.
Cumberland River Near Hermitage affecting Davidson County.
Cumberland River Near Edenwold affecting Davidson County.
Cumberland River At Briley Pkwy At Cockrill Bend affecting
Davidson County.
Cumberland River At Pennington Bend affecting Davidson County.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a
* Flood Warning for
the Cumberland River At Nashville.
* From early this morning to Tuesday evening.
* At 2:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 34.1 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this morning to a crest of 41.9 feet tomorrow morning. It will
then fall below flood stage Tuesday afternoon.
* Impact...At 35.0 feet, Low lying areas along the river from the
I-24 bridge to the I-65 bridge are significantly inundated,
including riverfront recreation areas and access points near
Nissan Stadium. Industrial properties along the river should
monitor further increases in river levels.
* Impact...At 37.0 feet, Further inundation of the riverfront
recreation areas near Nissan Stadium is occurring, as well as
access points along the river and portions of the Cumberland River
Greenway.
* Impact...At 38.0 feet, Water reaches the third grassy area of the
riverfront landing, and is inundating other recreational and
greenway areas along the river. Water also begins to approach
industrial properties along the river on Adams St, Cement Plant
Rd, Cowan St, Cowan Ct, and Davidson St.
* Impact...At 40.0 feet, Flooding of property along the river from
the I-24 bridge to the I-65 bridge is occurring, including
industrial areas on Adams St, Cement Plant Rd, Cowan St, Cowan Ct,
and Davidson St.
* Impact...At 41.0 feet, Further flooding of inudstrial areas on
Cement Plant Rd, Cowan St, Cowan Ct, and Davidson St is occurring.
Water also approaches Cowan St and Cowan Ct and these roads may be
closed at higher levels.
* Impact...At 42.0 feet, Riverfront park is flooded to the fourth
grassy area, as well as other recreational and greenway areas
along the river. Portions of Cowan St and Cowan Ct are flooded and
may be ipassable. Industrial properties on Davidson St, North
First St, Cowan St and Cowan Ct are also flooded.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 41.5
feet on 12/31/1911.

the Cumberland River Near Hermitage.
* From early this morning to Tuesday evening.
* At 2:45 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 40.4 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 48.0 feet.
* No flooding is currently forecast.
* Forecast...No forecast is available for this location.
* Impact...At 42.0 feet, Low lying areas along the Cumberland River
from the Hermitage Golf Course to near River Trace begin to be
inundated. Water is also backing up on the Stones River and
inundating adjacent low lying areas including portions of the
Stones River Greenway.
* Impact...At 44.0 feet, Areas along the river continue to be
inundated, including portions of the Hermitage Golf Course and the
Gaylord Springs Golf Course. Water is also inundating areas along
the Stones River, including portions of the Stones River Greenway
and the Heartland Park athletic fields.
* Impact...At 47.0 feet, Water is inundating portions of the
Hermitage Golf Course and the Gaylord Springs Golf Course, and
will significantly cover the remainder at higher levels. Areas
along the Stones River, including the Stones River Greenway and
the Heartland Park athletic fields, are also inundated.
* Impact...At 48.0 feet, Flooding is occurring along the Cumberland
River from the Hermitage Golf Course to near the River Trace
subdivision. Water covers most of the Hermitage Golf Course and
the Gaylord Springs Golf Course, and begins to impact properties
along the river in Neelys Bend. Water begins to inundate property
around the K.R. Harrington water facility.
* Impact...At 50.0 feet, Flooding continues along the Cumberland
River, covering most of the Hermitage Golf Course and Gaylord
Springs Golf Course. Properties along the river in Neelys Bend,
including E.N. Peeler Park, are flooding and access may be limited
at higher river levels. Water approaches properties in the Hampton
Park subdivision on Aaronwood Ct and Granwood Blvd. Water
approaches properties on Linden Green Dr and at the end of Hidden
Acres Dr.
* Impact...At 52.0 feet, Many areas along the Cumberland River are
flooding, including golf courses adjacent to the river, properties
in Neelys Bend on Hidden Acres Dr, Menees Ln, Neelys Bend Rd, and
E.N. Peeler Park. Water impacts properties in Hampton Park on
Aaronwood Ct and Granwood Blvd, in Hermitage Ridge on Hermitage
Ridge Dr and Linden Green Dr, and on Kingsway Dr. Heartland Dr
begins to flood and may be impassable at higher stages, and water
begins to impact structures at the K.R. Harrington water facility.

* Impact...At 42.0 feet, Low lying areas along the river from Old
Hickory Dam to near the Hermitage Golf Course begin to be
inunudated, and water backs up Mansker Creek affecting portions of
Moss Wright Park.
* Impact...At 45.0 feet, Inundation of low lying areas along the
river continues, affecting portions of Moss Wright Park on Mansker
Creek and industrial property along Dry Creek. Water begins to
inundate the athletic fields at Pope John Paul II High School,
agricultural areas, and Riverside Golf Center.
* Impact...At 47.0 feet, Water continues to inundate low lying areas
along the river. Locations impacted are Moss Wright Park, the
athletic fields at Pope John Paul II High School and other areas
along Mansker Creek, industrial property along Dry Creek,
agricultural areas, and Riverside Golf Center. Water approaches
properties on Mansker Dr, Bennett Dr and Hurst Dr, which may cause
damage at higher levels.
* Impact...At 49.0 feet, Flooding of low lying areas along the river
begins from Old Hickory Dam to near the Hermitage Golf Course,
impacting agricultural areas, Riverside Golf Center, and
properties on Mansker Dr, Bennett Dr, and Hurst Dr. Water backs up
Mansker Creek affecting areas near Moss Wright Park and the
athletic fields at Pope John Paul II High School, and backwater on
Dry Creek affects industrial property on Edenwold Dr.
* Impact...At 52.0 feet, Flooding continues to impact agricultural
areas along the river, Riverside Golf Center, residential
properties on Mansker Dr, Bennett Dr, and Hurst Dr, and industrial
property on Edenwold Rd. Locations along Mansker Creek are also
impacted, including Moss Wright Park, the athletic fields at Pope
John Paul II High School, and other nearby areas. Water approaches
residential properties on Northstar Ct, Anita Dr and Warrior Rd,
and industrial property on Hickory Industrial Dr.

* Impact...At 42.0 feet, Low lying areas along the river around
Pennington Bend are inundated from near the River Trace
subdivision to the Cumberland River Greenway bridge in Shelby
Bottoms Park.
* Impact...At 44.0 feet, Water continues to inundate low lying areas
along the river, including properties on Berwick Trail, areas near
Gibson Creek on Denson Ave and Yale Ave, portions of Opryland near
Mc Gavock Pike, and properties in the River Glen and River Trace
subdivisions.
* Impact...At 47.0 feet, Flooding is occurring along the river
around Pennington Bend from near River Trace to the Cumberland
River Greenway Bridge in Shelby Bottoms Park. Properties on
Berwick Trail, areas near Gibson Creek on Denson Ave and Yale Ave,
portions of Opryland near Mc Gavock Pike, properties in River Glen
on Penn Meade Way, and properties in River Trace on River Bend Dr.
Water approaches residential property on Pennington Bend Rd and
Wooddale Ln, and campgrounds near Music Valley Dr and Pennington
Bend Rd.
* Impact...At 49.0 feet, Flooding continues on Berwick Trail, Denson
Ave, Yale Ave, Madison Blvd, Idlewild Dr, properties in River Glen
on Penn Meade Way and River Meade Way, and properties in River
Trace on River Bend Dr, Cain Harbor Dr, and Longfellow Dr.
Wooddale Ln is flooded and water approaches homes on Miami Ave and
Pennington Bend Rd. Campgrounds near Music Valley Dr and
Pennington Bend Rd are flooded, as well as portions of Opryland
near Mc Gavock Pike and other areas of Opry Mills not protected by
the levee.
* Impact...At 51.0 feet, Areas near Berwick Trail, Center St, Denson
Ave, Yale Ave, Madison Blvd, Idlewild Dr, Idlewild Ct, Emmitt Ave,
Cain Harbor Dr, River Bend Dr, Frost St, Longfellow Dr, and Mc
Ginnis Dr are flooded and access may be limited. Campgrounds near
Music Valley Dr and Pennington Bend Rd are flooded, as well as
portions of Opryland and Opry Mills not protected by the levee.
Water also begins to impact homes on Morgan Meade Dr, Morgan Meade
Ct, Moss Rose Ct, and Miami Ave.
