WILLIAMSON...SOUTHEASTERN CHEATHAM AND NORTHEASTERN HICKMAN COUNTIES
UNTIL 130 AM CDT...

At 1248 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Fairview, or 14 miles southeast of Dickson, moving east at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Dickson, Centerville, Nashville, Forest Hills, White Bluff, Belle
Meade, Kingston Springs, Pegram, Burns, Bellevue, Fairview, Bon Aqua,
Bells Bend, Primm Springs, Lyles, Natchez Trace At Highway 96 and
Nunnelly.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 169 and 209.
 Interstate 65 near mile marker 85.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 47 and 48.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 1 and 17.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
