MAURY...WILLIAMSON AND EAST CENTRAL HICKMAN COUNTIES UNTIL 200 AM
CDT...

At 115 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms,
moving east at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Franklin, Columbia, Centerville, Brentwood, Spring Hill, Nolensville,
Forest Hills, Oak Hill, Thompson's Station, Primm Springs, Natchez
Trace At Highway 96, Santa Fe and Leipers Fork.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 54 and 74.
 Interstate 24 near mile marker 61.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 8 and 32.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
