RUTHERFORD...SOUTHWESTERN SUMNER...NORTHEASTERN WILLIAMSON AND
NORTHWESTERN WILSON COUNTIES UNTIL 830 PM CDT...

At 749 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Nolensville, or 10 miles northeast of Franklin, moving northeast at
35 mph.

Pea size hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Lebanon, Nashville, Madison, Hendersonville, Smyrna, Brentwood, La
Vergne, Mount Juliet, Goodlettsville, Nolensville, Oak Hill,
Lakewood, Hermitage, Rural Hill, Antioch, Belinda City, Old Hickory,
Berry Hill, Green Hill and Percy Priest Lake.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 210 and 232.
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 70 and 82, and between mile
markers 87 and 98.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 47 and 65.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
