HOUSTON...PERRY...EASTERN HUMPHREYS AND WESTERN HICKMAN COUNTIES
UNTIL 500 PM CDT...

At 410 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Waverly to 8 miles southeast of
Decaturville. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Waverly, Linden, McEwen, Hurricane Mills, Lobelville, Vanleer,
Slayden, Pinewood, Pleasantville and Bucksnort.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 139 and 165.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
