...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHEASTERN HOUSTON...CENTRAL
PERRY AND HUMPHREYS COUNTIES UNTIL 415 PM CDT...

At 334 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from New Johnsonville to Decaturville. Movement was
northeast at 40 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Waverly, Linden, New Johnsonville, Hurricane Mills, Lobelville,
Mousetail Landing State Park and I-40 Near The Tennessee River.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 136 and 147.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
