DE KALB AND SOUTHWESTERN PUTNAM COUNTIES UNTIL 900 PM CDT...

At 827 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Baxter, or 11 miles northeast of Smithville, moving west at 35 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Smithville, Hickman, Dowelltown, Center Hill Lake and Edgar Evans
State Park.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 263 and 278.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
