...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHERN WHITE AND SOUTHERN
PUTNAM COUNTIES UNTIL 845 PM CDT...

At 758 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Monterey, or 10 miles southeast of Cookeville, moving west at 20 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, Sparta, Monterey, Baxter, Hamptons Crossroads, Bakers
Crossroads and Burgess Falls State Park.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 279 and 301.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
