...The flood advisory continues for the Duck River...
Duck River Near Hurricane Mills affecting Humphreys County
.Water levels along the Duck River near Hurricane Mills continue to slowly fall,
but will remain about action stage the next few days.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

The Flood Advisory continues for
The Duck River Near Hurricane Mills
* Until Friday afternoon.
* At 02AM Wednesday the stage was 23.1 feet...and falling.
* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
* The river will rise to near 23.2 feet this morning.
* The river will continue to fall to near 22.0 feet by tomorrow morning.
* At 24.0 feet...Flood waters approach low lying portions of Hurricane Creek
Road near Hurricane Mills, and other roads in the area are flooded including
Tumbling Creek Road. Agricultural land along the river is extensively flooded
from Bucksnort, to Taylortown and Cedar Grove.
* At 22.0 feet...Portions of Tumbling Creek Road east of Highway 13 are flooded
and may be impassable.
* At 20.0 feet...Portions of Tumbling Creek Road east of Highway 13 begin to
flood and there is significant flooding of agricultural land along the river
from Bucksnort, to Taylortown and Cedar Grove.
