...The flood advisory continues for the Cumberland River...

  Cumberland River At Celina affecting Clay and Jackson Counties
  Cumberland River At Hunters Point affecting Wilson County
  Cumberland River Near Edenwold affecting Davidson County
  Cumberland River Near Hermitage affecting Davidson County
  Cumberland River At Pennington Bend affecting Davidson County
  Cumberland River At Nashville affecting Davidson County
  Cumberland River Near Bordeaux affecting Davidson County

. Water levels along the Cumberland River will remain high as water is moved
through the basin. Levels are expected to remain fairly steady over the next
few days.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

* Until further notice.
* At 09PM Tuesday the stage was 33.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
* The river will remain steady near 33 feet.
* At 33.0 feet...Water begins to impact low lying areas along the river and the
  adjacent tributaries, including Kettle Creek, Proctor Creek, Obey River, Knob
  Creek, and Mill Creek. Water approaches the atheltic fields at Clay County
  High School, the Clay County Park, and properties along Breyer St and Waste
  Water Rd.

* Until further notice.
* At 09PM Tuesday the stage was 50.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 52.0 feet.
* At 52.0 feet...Flooding begins from Beasleys Bend in Wilson County downstream
  to Old Hickory Dam impacting agricultural land, residential property,
  recreation areas, boat launches, and marinas including the Drakes Creek,
  Rockland, and Cages Bend areas in Hendersonville, portions of Old Hickory,
  Cedar Creek in Mount Juliet, areas near Laguardo, Station Camp Creek in
  Gallatin, Bledsoe Creek State Park in Castalian Springs, and Cairo Bend,
  Bartons Creek, and Hunters Point in Lebanon.
* At 50.0 feet...Agricultural land, recreation areas, boat launches, and marinas
  along and near the river continue to be inundated including the Drakes Creek
  and Rockland areas in Hendersonville, portions of Old Hickory, Cedar Creek in
  Mount Juliet, areas near Laguardo, Station Camp Creek in Gallatin, Bledsoe
  Creek State Park in Castalian Springs, and Hunters Point in Lebanon.

* Until further notice.
* At 10PM Tuesday the stage was 47.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 49.0 feet.
* The river will remain steady near 47 feet.
* At 49.0 feet...Flooding of low lying areas along the river begins from Old
  Hickory Dam to near the Hermitage Golf Course, impacting agricultural areas,
  Riverside Golf Center, and properties on Mansker Dr, Bennett Dr, and Hurst Dr.
  Water backs up Mansker Creek affecting areas near Moss Wright Park and the
  athletic fields at Pope John Paul II High School, and backwater on Dry Creek
  affects industrial property on Edenwold Dr.
* At 47.0 feet...Water continues to inundate low lying areas along the river.
  Locations impacted are Moss Wright Park, the athletic fields at Pope John Paul
  II High School and other areas along Mansker Creek, industrial property along
  Dry Creek, agricultural areas, and Riverside Golf Center. Water approaches
  properties on Mansker Dr, Bennett Dr and Hurst Dr, which may cause damage at
  higher levels.

  The Cumberland River Near Hermitage
* Until further notice.
* At 09PM Tuesday the stage was 46.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 48.0 feet.
* The river will remain steady near 46 feet.
* At 47.0 feet...Water is inundating portions of the Hermitage Golf Course and
  the Gaylord Springs Golf Course, and will significantly cover the remainder at
  higher levels. Areas along the Stones River, including the Stones River
  Greenway and the Heartland Park athletic fields, are also inundated.
* At 44.0 feet...Areas along the river continue to be inundated, including
  portions of the Hermitage Golf Course and the Gaylord Springs Golf Course.
  Water is also inundating areas along the Stones River, including portions of
  the Stones River Greenway and the Heartland Park athletic fields.

* Until further notice.
* At 09PM Tuesday the stage was 45.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 47.0 feet.
* The river will remain steady near 46 feet.
* At 47.0 feet...Flooding is occurring along the river around Pennington Bend
  from near River Trace to the Cumberland River Greenway Bridge in Shelby
  Bottoms Park. Properties on Berwick Trail, areas near Gibson Creek on Denson
  Ave and Yale Ave, portions of Opryland near Mc Gavock Pike, properties in
  River Glen on Penn Meade Way, and properties in River Trace on River Bend Dr.
  Water approaches residential property on Pennington Bend Rd and Wooddale Ln,
  and campgrounds near Music Valley Dr and Pennington Bend Rd.
* At 44.0 feet...Water continues to inundate low lying areas along the river,
  including properties on Berwick Trail, areas near Gibson Creek on Denson Ave
  and Yale Ave, portions of Opryland near Mc Gavock Pike, and properties in the
  River Glen and River Trace subdivisions.

* Until further notice.
* At 09PM Tuesday the stage was 37.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
* The river will remain steady near 38 feet.
* At 40.0 feet...Flooding of property along the river from the I-24 bridge to
  the I-65 bridge is occurring, including industrial areas on Adams St, Cement
  Plant Rd, Cowan St, Cowan Ct, and Davidson St.
* At 38.0 feet...Water reaches the third grassy area of the riverfront landing,
  and is inundating other recreational and greenway areas along the river. Water
  also begins to approach industrial properties along the river on Adams St,
  Cement Plant Rd, Cowan St, Cowan Ct, and Davidson St.
* At 37.0 feet...Further inundation of the riverfront recreation areas near
  Nissan Stadium is occurring, as well as access points along the river and
  portions of the Cumberland River Greenway.

* Until further notice.
* At 09PM Tuesday the stage was 33.6 feet and steady.
* Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
* At 34.0 feet...Flooding of low lying areas along the river begins. Locations
  impacted inlcude property on Huron Ave, portions of the Cumberland River
  Greenway, Bordeaux Gardens Park, Ted Rhodes Golf Course, and agricultural
  property on Ed Temple Blvd.
* At 32.0 feet...Low lying areas continue to be inundated, including portions of
  the Cumberland River Greenway, the ballfield in Bordeaux Gardens Park,
  portions of the Ted Rhodes Golf Course, and agricultural property of Ed Temple
  Blvd.
