...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR CUMBERLAND...VAN BUREN AND
SOUTHEASTERN WHITE COUNTIES UNTIL 930 PM CDT...

At 842 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Crossville to 7 miles south of Spencer.
Movement was east at 40 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Crossville, Spencer, Fairfield Glade, Crab Orchard, Pleasant Hill,
Lake Tansi, Cumberland Mountain State Park, Slate Springs, Indian
Rock Lake, Virgin Falls State Natural Area and Fall Creek Falls State
Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
