...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHEASTERN COFFEE...SOUTHERN
VAN BUREN...SOUTHERN WARREN AND GRUNDY COUNTIES UNTIL 900 PM CDT...

At 821 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles north of Tracy City, or 18 miles southeast of Manchester,
moving east at 30 mph.

Half inch hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Gruetli-Laager, Tracy City, Monteagle, Altamont, Coalmont, Palmer,
Beersheba Springs, Viola, Hillsboro, Pelham, Fall Creek Falls State
Park, Fiery Gizzard State Park and Woods Reservoir.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
