...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR CENTRAL MAURY AND SOUTHWESTERN
WILLIAMSON COUNTIES UNTIL 800 PM CDT...

At 716 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Thompson's Station, or 10 miles southwest of Franklin, moving
southwest at 20 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Columbia, Spring Hill, Thompson's Station, Santa Fe, Williamsport and
Leipers Fork.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
