Areas affected...western Tennessee and vicinity
Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 274...
Valid 271249Z - 271415Z
The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 274
continues.
SUMMARY...Local severe risk continues across the western Tennessee
vicinity, within WW 274.
DISCUSSION...Latest radar loop shows storms gradually diminishing in
intensity across western Tennessee, and expect this trend to
continue at this point given less favorable downstream airmass
(including strong capping per the morning Nashville RAOB). While a
couple of strong cores may still pose risk for marginally severe
hail and/or wind, overall downward trend which is expected to
continue suggests that WW will likely not need to be expanded
downstream.
