WILLIAMSON...WILSON...SOUTHEASTERN CHEATHAM...EAST CENTRAL HUMPHREYS
AND NORTHEASTERN HICKMAN COUNTIES UNTIL 715 PM CDT...

At 627 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms , with the strongest thunderstorm 8 miles north of
Dickson, moving southeast at 65 mph.

Half inch hail...winds in excess of 40 mph...frequent cloud to
ground lightning strikes...and brief heavy rainfall will be
possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Franklin, Gallatin, Lebanon, Dickson, Ashland City, Nashville,
Madison, Hendersonville, Smyrna, Brentwood, La Vergne, Spring Hill,
Mount Juliet, Goodlettsville, Millersville, Nolensville, Forest
Hills, Oak Hill, White Bluff and Belle Meade.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Brief heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
lead to localized minor flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
